This is Pukky Ajcharawadee, a second-year student in fashion design, Thammasat University. who is full of talents and unique style.
We found that nothing is easy and there’s always a problem in our lives, Pukky has problems too. According to the fact that she is a daughter of a teacher, her parents tend to want her to study about something that can help her find job easily. Pukky is a scholarship student in sci-math program when she was in high school. One time, she thought she wanted to be a dentist. She liked about science and mathematics thing but actually, she doesn’t feel like doing this forever or no longer happy with it. She got bored in class and started drawing in her note book while teacher is teaching and that’s the beginning of her sense of art.
She recognized that she’s actually good at drawing and also happy when doing it and she thought it’s fun. When she graduated from high school, she decided to go for Fine Art program. Studying fashion design literally change her life. She started to be more confident, be herself and she finally has a chance to do what she really wants to do and studying about clothes makes her appreciate and respect other people’s styles because we all have different styles and are interested in different things.
Pukky applies what she has learnt to herself. She said that clothes are not something that people wear to cover our bodies but clothes can tell who we are or what we like, some people like to wear drees, some people like to wear jeans, that is showing their styles.
Pukky is not a perfect girl who looks good all the time. When she first came into university she did not know how to dress and also did not have many clothes. Sometimes, when she dresses, she also makes mistake but she keeps trying to figure out her style. She said that people will never know what they like if they never try to do it
she plans ahead that after graduated she will return to her home in Loei and open a little business about Thai silk and share her knowledge to people as much as she can. Pukky is happy with her life now, she doesn’t push herself too much, just go with the flow and let things happen the way it will be.
